Developing Confident, Impactful Leaders

Managers Institute is designed to equip both emerging and experienced managers with the essential skills needed to navigate the complexities of team leadership. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to effectively support their team members by recognizing and adapting to individual work preferences, delegating tasks strategically and leading in a way that promotes growth and productivity. Through sessions focused on self-awareness, managing others, team dynamics, organizational culture and key leadership styles, this program helps managers build the confidence and expertise that directly contribute to an organization’s success.

Ideal for professionals transitioning from individual contributor roles to leadership or those already managing others and seeking to refine their approach, Managers Institute offers the guidance and tools necessary to develop stronger, more capable managers. Curriculum:

A 5-Module Course

  • Module 1: Self-Awareness
  • Module 2: Managing Others
  • Module 3: Team Dynamics
  • Module 4: Fundamentals of Organizational Culture
  • Module 5: Leadership Framework: Understanding 3 Key Styles of Leadership

Predictive Index (PI) Behavioral Assessment and 1-on-1 Results Readback

  • The PI Behavioral Assessment reveals an individual's strengths, weaknesses and work style. Understanding these nuances can foster better self-awareness and teamwork.

Just-In-Time Mentoring Sessions

  • Course instructor-led mentor sessions that provide immediate assistance, knowledge, advice and guidance for specific challenges the participant is facing.

Class Runs: March 17, 2026 - May 12, 2026

  • A combination of 2-hour in-person sessions held at Chamber Headquarters, followed by virtual lesson debriefs.

    • Tuesday, April 21: 9:00- 11:00 a.m. (Virtual)
    • Tuesday, April 28: 9:00- 11:00 a.m. (In-Person)
    • Tuesday, May 5: 9:00- 11:00 a.m. (Virtual)
    • Tuesday, May 12: 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. (In-Person)

Ideal Candidates:

  • Mid-career leaders with over 8 years of professional experience or someone who has advanced from being an individual contributor to managing teams or other individuals.

Tuition Cost: $1,200

Applicants must have an active Chamber membership to be considered for selection.

Applicants must be employed by an active Chamber member organization in order to be considered for the program. Applicants accepted into this year's class will be notified by Friday, March 13, 2026.

Upon acceptance, tuition is due in full by March 13, 2026. Tuition payments are final and non-refundable once the applicant has accepted their spot in the class.
