The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and its Center for Business Research (CBR) announce the release of the 2015 Charleston Region SC Wage and Benefits Survey results, which the CBR conducted in the fall of 2015. The result is a study of benefit and compensation practices among employers in the three county Charleston region (Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester).

The study is comprised of significant data in three major categories: Benefit Plans and Benchmarks, Compensation Practices, and Workforce Challenges. The study compiles information from human resource experts representing member and non-member organizations in the tri-county region.

A total of 70 organizations in the three-county metropolitan area responded representing multiple industries and 31,000 workers, approximately 10% of the region’s workforce. Participation in the study was promoted to major employers, area industry and local professional organizations including the local information technology community.
