Where emerging leaders connect

Charleston Young Professionals

Who is CYP?

Charleston Young Professionals (CYP) was created as an arm of the Chamber to attract, retain and develop young professionals in the Charleston region. CYP is a 1000+ member-strong organization that is widely recognized as an action-oriented powerhouse of the region’s up and coming young leaders.

CYP has four key pillars that guide our programs, events and initiatives: Connections, Policy, Professional Development and Service.

Thank you for being a part of CYP! We hope that you will find your fit within this community.  Keep scrolling to learn more about our four key pillars and the programs and events that you can get involved with.

CYP membership is free for you as long as your employer is a member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. Fill out the CYP Corporate Membership Application (this will ensure that we have your name and information in our system for future CYP communication)

If you change employers and they don’t maintain a chamber membership, you can continue membership for a very small annual fee.

If your employer is a Chamber member, you can join CYP for free and start enjoying all the benefits of membership immediately!

If your employer is not a Chamber member, and try as you might, you’ve been unable to talk them into joining, you can still be a part of CYP for a nominal fee of $75. Apply Now
