Where emerging leaders connect
Charleston Young Professionals
Who is CYP?
In 2006, the one billionth song was purchased from Apple iTunes, Google purchased YouTube for $1.65 billion and Pluto was downgraded from planet to dwarf planet. That same year, Charleston Young Professionals (CYP) was created as an arm of the Chamber to attract, retain and develop young professionals in the Charleston Region.
Now, more than 13 years later, Apple has sold more than 35 billion songs, YouTube is now worth $70 billion, Pluto is still not getting any respect and CYP is now a 900+ member strong organization that is widely recognized as an action-oriented powerhouse of the region’s up and coming young leaders.
