What is the Catalyst Center and how do I use it?

The Catalyst Center (located on the 2nd floor of the Charleston Metro Chamber) space is available for Chamber members to use, including as a meeting place. The nearly 2000-square-foot Catalyst Center can accommodate a variety of meeting sizes and arrangements, with tables and chairs configured as needed.

Which space is best for me?

Catalyst Center Living Room – Max occupancy: 50

This open area can be used as one large space or can be utilized in zones that accommodate individual workspace, smaller meetings, brainstorming sessions and presentations. Equipment in the open area include: 60” Computer TV, wifi access, white boards. The space also includes a large table area that seats 10 people comfortably and two booth tables for casual gatherings.

Zucker Family Inspiration Room – Max occupancy: 14

This collaborative, yet private meeting space is ideal for small group meetings. This area includes a conference table and large white board.

Mentor Room – Max occupancy: 4

The small round table and comfortable chairs provides for a quite meeting space for a small group that needs privacy.

Studio Room

This Audio-Visual Studio can be used for photo sessions. Sound and visual equipment is not provided, but the space is currently perfect for members that have their own equipment.

How do I book space in the Catalyst Center?

The Catalyst Center’s main room can be used 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, with no booking necessary. Individual rooms are booked in advance. Since demand is increasing daily; it’s a good idea to reserve your space early. Please contact Cassie Flanick at 843.805.3097
