I have over two and a half years sales experience within Alabama Power. In my current role as a Municipal Account Manager (1 year 6 months), I have converted 10 major cities in Alabama from traditional fixtures to new LEDs.
I am currently the leading municipal salesman for 2018 with 10,649 fixtures sold and am individually responsible for adding $102,862 in monthly recurring revenue to the company. As a member of the Lighting Services team, we have added over $7 million in net income to the company’s bottom line in just one year. I help facilitate partnerships with municipalities throughout the state and sell lighting services, fiber broadband connectivity, cyber security, security cameras, shot-spotters, license plate readers, WiFi communication, and other “smart” innovations.
I communicate regularly with my municipal counterparts, engineers, material coordinators, construction coordinators, and leadership to complete lighting jobs and improve job processes.
Prior to my time in Lighting Services, I was a Residential Marketing Representative in Auburn, Alabama (1 year). I was responsible for implementation of strategies, programs, and tactics that focused on achieving company-wide sales, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals in the residential market. I developed a network to expand company recognition and influence electric sales in residential homes.
I also have 2 years in government relations experience from my time with the State of Florida. Here I reviewed agency budget requests and develop budget recommendations for Governor Rick Scott and senior staff. I also prepared analysis and recommendations on complex programs, policy issues, and projects concerning the impacts of proposed planning, budget, and policy decisions on the state of Florida’s educational programs.
