A Global Competitiveness Strategy
One Region serves as a roadmap for our community now and into the future. It is a values-based, global competitiveness strategy for the three-county Charleston region.
Launched in 2016 and informed by a diverse range of public, private, nonprofit and educational leaders, the strategy calls for thinking and acting as a unified region in order to become a globally competitive place where all people and businesses flourish.
foundation of the strategy:
One Region’s Values
To become a globally competitive place where all people and businesses flourish requires action. It’s big. It means working together with One Vision as One Region.
- A Strong, Resilient Economy
- Attainable Opportunities for All Residents to Live, Learn & Earn
- Balancing Growth with Nurturing Our Unique Character
- Being a Connected Community
Moving the Charleston region forward will require everyone. The Chamber works with diverse organizations to build and coordinate ways the community can invest in greater Charleston.
Through Accelerate and Lead CHS, the Chamber is able to put additional fuel behind our talent advancement, government relations and leadership development efforts. This is the driving force behind our success and ability to make significant impacts on our region’s biggest challenges.
