Six companies began their export training as part of the Metro Charleston Export Plan, which runs from August through October, 2014. This is the second group of companies to participate in the training program, the first group completed their training in June 2014. The training, provided by the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and World Trade Center Charleston(WTCC), includes a variety of experts from around the state and will prepare participating companies to enter the international market or to expand current exports.

Fog Free Technologies
FFT was founded in 1991 with an aim to become an environmentally friendly products industry leader that would offer a solution to problems that had significant negative environmental impacts. Their first product line tackled finding an environmentally friendly solution for the Fats, Oils, and Grease in Municipal Waste Water facilities. Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. is a family run company based in Charleston, SC and Lexington, KY. Their goal is to take long forgotten staples of the American bar and reinvent them, in an effort to drink like our great-grandparents might once have. Their tonics and mixers are crafted in the United States in small batches and distributed carefully across the world to finer bottle shops, bars, restaurants and general fans of a delicious drink.

(1952) for the manufacture of fabricated plastic displays and plastic products for the Automotive, Aerospace, Communication, Defense, Healthcare, Food, Marine, Mechanical and Transportation industries. The New Primal
The New Primal is a Charleston based snack food company specialized in making and selling high-quality artisanal beef jerky: all-natural, grass-fed beef, gluten-free, naturally sweetened and infused with spices, with no nitrates, preservatives, or MSG. They have been in business for 4 years and in retail locations for almost 2 years – in 40 states with over 800 retail locations. Requests have been made to offer their products in Canada and parts of Europe. They are continuing to expand their product offering with new food creations as they grow their business.
