The Charleston Metro Chamber’s PAC Board will meet soon to discuss which races to make endorsement decisions on this fall. After the PAC Board decides which races the Chamber will weigh in on this November, the candidate interview process will begin.

The interview process includes written questionnaire responses and an interview with one of the PAC interview teams. All filed candidates are invited to participate. In each case, the endorsed candidates seek the PAC endorsement and participate in the selection process. Endorsed candidates have strong alignment with the Chamber’s local and state policy priorities and a strong vision for the future of the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester region.

This year, those who donate to the PAC at the Palmetto level or higher, will have a unique opportunity to attend a “Winner’s PAC Fundraiser” with access to winning candidates from across the region. The focus of the Chamber’s PAC donations are to fund contributions to endorsed candidates, candidate fundraisers and Senate and House Caucus memberships.
