In November 2019, the Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (CVMSDC) joined the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, CVMSDC also welcomed the Charleston Chamber as the Council’s newest Corporate Partner as part of a business expansion and strategic alignment with chambers across the CVMSDC footprint in South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
CVMSDC President & CEO Dominique Milton said: “This is a natural fit between the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and CVMSDC. As part of our affiliation with NMSDC, we represent more than 12,000 Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) nationwide. Working within our national and local chambers, we can impact economic growth by building business relationships between businesses and major corporate partners with supply chain opportunities.”
Milton is a graduate of Leadership Charleston and also a proponent of small business development. She is actively working to align and strengthen collaborations between CVMSDC and chambers throughout the region. Milton has an office in Charleston, S.C. where she supports corporate development for CVMSDC.
