CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – Hilton Grand Vacations hosted a hygiene kit build on Tuesday, July 13. The kits will be donated to the Lowcountry chapter of the American Red Cross.

Clean the World‘s hygiene kits include soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, a toothbrush, a razor and a washcloth. The goal is to bring relief to people on the worst day of their lives.

“We supply hygiene kits for all our clients who have experienced a disaster,” said Ashley Henyan, executive director for the Red Cross of the Lowcountry. “This comes in handy. Not having a toothbrush or shampoo or soap, it’s not something we think about all the time, but it’s something that we need.”

They created 1,000 kits but that will only help about half of the families who will be in need.
