Construction industry veteran Kent Thames, formerly with Choate Construction, has joined JE Dunn Construction as Vice President responsible for the Charleston market and surrounding Lowcountry.
Thames will be responsible for leading and growing the JE Dunn Charleston team, setting and implementing strategic direction, overseeing multiple highly visible projects, and expanding the company’s footprint.

At Choate, Kent started and led their Charleston office Interiors Division. Prior to his time at Choate he spent 10 years with HITT Contracting in Charleston. Kent also previously worked for SteelFab and Owens Steel in Charleston and Columbia, respectively.
