Volunteers Needed to Stamp Out Hunger

We are in need of volunteers for Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday May 14th in the afternoon. Stamp Out Hunger volunteers will assist letter carriers as they unload their mail trucks and sort through donated food at various USPS locations. This will require volunteers to be on their feet and doing moderate lifting, bending and stretching. Student age 15+ may volunteer and get those much needed Community Service Hours!

Post Offices with immediate needs are:

• Oakbrook (Summerville/Ladson) 2nd shift 3pm to 6:30pm (15 volunteers)
• Summerville 2nd shift 3pm to 6pm ( 15 volunteers)
• Cross County (North Charleston) 2pm to 6pm (10 volunteers)
• Pinehaven (North Charleston, MacMillan Ave.) 3pm to 6pm (5 volunteers)
• James Island Post Office 2pm to 6pm (5 volunteers)

Volunteers may sign up at https://www.lowcountryfoodbank.volunteerhub.com
