Water Mission’s 15th Annual Walk for Water on Saturday, March 20

Water Mission, a nonprofit Christian engineering organization, is hosting its 15th Annual Walk for Water on March 20 to raise awareness about the global water crisis. Today, this crisis leaves more than 2.2 billion people around the world without access to clean, safe water.

This year, walkers have two ways to participate: (1) register to walk from a location and time of their choice, or (2) sign up for a staggered time slot and walk at Riverfront Park in North Charleston.

In many countries, women and children walk more than three miles each day to retrieve water for their families that is often unsafe to drink. By joining the Walk for Water, participants will help Water Mission provide accessible, life-saving safe water solutions for hundreds of thousands of people.
