Parker's Kitchen Honored as 2020 Community Impact Champion

The Charleston Metro Chamber Community Champions Awards, presented by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, honors those businesses and individuals who made an impact in 2020.

Parker’s Kitchen is being recognized as our Community Impact Champion, which honors a business or individual who has exhibited a commitment to the community by demonstrating an active leadership role through their involvement in business, civic and social service organizations.

Recognizing that there were so many people struggling, Parker’s Kitchen created a $20 million community fund to support charitable causes across coastal Georgia and South Carolina. They plan to grow that fund to $100 million over the next 10 years. This commitment speaks to their organization’s value of stepping up, leading by example and supporting all of the communities where they operate stores.

Parker’s Kitchen is committed to their customers and the communities where they do business. Fast, Fresh, Friendly is their daily promise to every customer.

With stores located across Georgia and South Carolina, Parker’s offers a smart alternative to traditional convenience stores, offering first-class customer service and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

Company founder and CEO Greg Parker opened the first Parker’s Kitchen in Midway, Georgia in 1976. He has since grown the company to be an award winning convenience store with 69 locations. Most recently, Parker’s Kitchen was named the number one convenience store in America by Convenience Stores Decisions.
