The Chamber’s Government Relations team focuses their work on three pillars; to Inform, to give Access and to Advocate. The annual D.C. Fly-In is a quintessential example of bringing the Access and Advocate pillars together over a two-day period in our nation’s capital.

More than 20 Chamber members and staff converged upon Washington to gain access to elected leaders from South Carolina and branches of military who call the Lowcountry home. During these discussions, attendees had the opportunity to hear from Congressman Clyburn, Congresswoman Nancy Mace and Senator Lindsay Graham and advocate for their thoughts and views on the present and future of our region. In addition, attendees met with members of the Air Force, Coast Guard, Army and Navy, to voice their support for our military community.
