The Charleston Metro Chamber is excited to announce Tina Wirth as Senior Vice President of Regional Advancement and Talent. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge in talent development and strategic regional initiatives, serving most recently as the Vice President of Education and Workforce Development for the JAXUSA Partnership, a division of the JAX Chamber.
Tina has been working in youth and workforce programs for 20 years. While with the JAX Chamber, Wirth engaged regionally to substantially increase the number of career academies aligned to industry, pushed for “model” career academy standards and launched the region’s first collective impact collaboration to increase the education levels of its workforce.
“I could not be more thrilled to welcome Tina to our team,” said Bryan Derreberry, Charleston Metro Chamber President and CEO. “She has extensive knowledge of education initiatives and we look forward to seeing her efforts in our region come to fruition and continue strengthening and growing our impactful Talent and Advancement platforms.”
She is a first cohort ACCE EAD Education Attainment Fellow, graduate of Leadership Jacksonville and has served in volunteer leadership positions with the local United Way, City Year, Mayor’s Office MLK Committee and Girl Scouts. Tina holds her bachelors in Communications from University of North Florida.
