This afternoon Governor McMaster announced that close contact businesses will be able to open in limited capacity beginning next Monday, May 18. Those include fitness and exercise centers, commercial gyms and public and commercial pools. The Governor also announced that barber shops, hair salons, waxing salons, nail salons, spas, tattoo services, tanning salons and massage services will be able to open next week.

There are guidelines that will need to be followed. These guidelines include, but are not limited to the following:

• Guidance on social distancing within businesses, including recommended capacity requirements
• Additional cleaning and sanitizing guidelines for equipment, tables, chairs, etc.
• Additional guidance on health checks for employees
• Additional guidance on training for employees
