Meet Scott Barhight, Senior VP of Government Relations!
Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Scott is known for being hard working, fun and focused. He has lived in the Charleston region for four years and has come to love Lowcountry cuisine and highly recommends Sermet’s Courtyard and FIG (Food Is Good). In his spare time, you may find him perfecting his golf swing or catching up on the latest Baltimore Ravens wins. Motivated by his many blessings, privileges and good fortune, Scott feels honored to be a part of the incredible Government Relations team and is dedicated to communicating the Chamber’s mission through his role as Senior Vice President.

Meet Bailey Vincett, Director of Government Affairs!
Hailing from Steelers nation, Bailey’s family would say that she is stubborn, driven and ambitious, but also the life of the party! She has loved calling Charleston home and in her free time, you can find her enjoying a Pittsburgh Steelers game, golfing or dining at Page’s Okra Grill (pro tip: get the loaded tater tots – she said they’re life changing!) She admires her parents for their hard work to provide for her and her sisters and she aspires to be like them. Bailey enjoys the collaborative atmosphere working at the Chamber provides, and, with her mindset and work ethic, she will continue to be a great asset to the team.

Meet Diamond Curry, Manager of Government Affairs

While a significant part of her childhood was spent in North Charleston, Diamond considers herself a proud Hoosier and Indiana University graduate. After moving back to North Charleston to be closer to family, she began working in the local government sector and realized her passion for community advancement. When she isn’t working, Diamond is most likely binge-watching anything from Yellowstone to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City with her dog, Monty. She is excited about the future of the Lowcountry and proud to be part of the Chamber’s role in that future.
