Lowcountry Veterans opened in November of 2020 at 1707 McLeod Avenue on James Island, officially naming the house The Matheson Veteran Home. Their goal is to provide the means necessary for homeless veterans to learn, heal, and grow so that after their stay they can transition to a new home and plan for financial success to then lead fulfilling and successful lives.
