The Charleston Chamber Foundation, through the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, has been awarded a $10,000 grant from TD Charitable Foundation to support the Chamber’s new Business Creation initiative.
The Charleston region has a strong and growing economy, yet entrepreneurs and small businesses often face a fragmented support landscape, making it difficult to access the resources, relationships and financial guidance needed to launch and grow a business. The Chamber’s Business Creation platform was developed to address those challenges through coordinated support services, education, mentorship and collaboration.
TD’s investment will help expand the Chamber’s business creation programming, strengthening its role as a trusted resource for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Through offerings like Bridge to Better Business, business owners will gain access to experts that will provide guidance and resources on topics like financial planning, marketing, employment law and more.
“Entrepreneurs and small businesses are critical drivers of our region’s economic success,” said Kevin Sheilley, President and CEO of the Charleston Metro Chamber. “TD’s investment will allow us to build upon our efforts to create a more connected ecosystem that provides the support and resources entrepreneurs need at every stage of their journey. We are grateful for TD Bank’s ongoing partnership and commitment to the Chamber’s mission.”
