The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 49^th graduating class of Leadership Charleston at Wild Dunes on September 7. During the past half decade, Leadership Charleston has aided in the development of leaders who have gone on to advanced careers in local, regional and global industries, legislative appointments and civic stewardship.

Throughout the immersive class, participants had the opportunity to dive deep into the challenges, concerns, opportunities and realities of both the business community and the region’s civic responsibilities. Upon completion of Leadership Charleston, graduates have had the opportunity to experience the impact they can have by working with organizations and community leaders in efforts to advance the Charleston region.

“The 49^th Class of Leadership Charleston fully embraced the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and relationships with classmates as they gained insight into the challenges that face the Charleston metro region,” said Therese Gordon, Associate Vice President of Leadership at the Charleston Chamber. “The Chamber is proud to have the graduates of the 2023 Class join a prestigious group of Leadership Charleston alumni who have used skills learned to elevate their careers and make meaningful impact in their community.”
