Charleston Metro Chamber Welcomes Director of Membership Relations and Government Relations Coordinator

The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce Cassie Flanick as Director of Membership Relations and Bailey Vincett as Government Relations Coordinator.

Cassie Flanick, Director of Membership Relations

As Director of Member Relations, Cassie is responsible for the oversight of membership retention. She works daily to connect with the Chamber’s membership and create opportunities for members to engage. Cassie previously worked for the Chamber for four years as part of both the Government Relations and Membership teams.

Cassie is from Gainesville, Florida and received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. She has traveled to over 15 countries and now resides in Summerville with her pets, Kitten and Kuma.

“I am thrilled to have Cassie on our Membership team,” said Tim Rogers, Senior Vice President of Membership for the Charleston Metro Chamber. “Her experience makes her perfectly suited to excel in this position and her dedication to member care is phenomenal.”

Bailey Vincett, Government Relations Coordinator

Bailey Vincett, Government Relations Coordinator, is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina. She brings with her experience as a Communications Assistant for the SC Republican Party and spent time as the Deputy Director of Operations for a Congressional campaign. She has also completed an internship from the office of the Vice President in Washington, D.C.

“Bailey’s education and professional experience make her an outstanding fit for the position,” said Scott Barhight, Senior Vice President of Government Relations. “Her skills will help elevate the Government Relations team’s work to advocate for our region’s business community.”

As Government Relations Coordinator, Bailey helps connect members to the Chamber’s government relations work and manages the Chamber’s Business Advocacy, Regional Policy and Political Action Committees. She also works to keep Chamber members up-to-date on local legislative issues.
