The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce Lucy McNerney as Director of Executive Team Intelligence and Investor Affiliation. In this role, Lucy will serve as the chief staff liaison to the Chamber’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, will provide executive administrative and logistical assistance and will support and co-manage Chamber committees. Lucy will also manage responsibilities for investor affiliation.

“I arrived at the Chamber with an energetic approach to fueling our mission and identifying the connections between the Chamber’s Board members, overall membership and Chamber staff,” said Lucy. “My goal is to make sure those connections affirm the commitment of the Chamber’s lead volunteers and uphold our promise to initiate, advocate and empower our region to advance a prosperous business environment.”

Prior to her role at the Chamber, Lucy worked at The Alley as Event Director, where she enhanced their social and corporate events. During her time at The Alley, Lucy participated in a variety of the Chamber’s committees and programs, which ultimately developed into a true passion for the Chamber’s work.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lucy to our Chamber team; she will be an invaluable asset to our organization,” said Bryan Derreberry, President and CEO for the Charleston Metro Chamber. “The work that Lucy does will be critical in ensuring that we continue to serve the needs of our Board of Directors, investors and membership as a whole, which will in turn allow us to do the important work we do in advancing our region.”

Lucy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the College of Charleston and currently lives in West Ashley with her husband, hound dog and tabby cat. On the weekends, you can find her at a brewery, fishing on a dock or cooking for friends and family.
