Getting to Know Ella Levadnuk, the Chamber’s New Executive & Business Advocacy Assistant

We’re excited to welcome Ella Levadnuk to the Chamber as our new Executive & Business Advocacy Assistant, a role that will have her working alongside President & CEO Kevin Sheilley and our Business Advocacy team.

It’s also a role that brings Ella back to interests she began exploring in college. Originally from Charlotte, she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in Pre-Legal Studies and a minor in criminal justice from Appalachian State University. Internships in government affairs and marketing gave her experience in both policy and communications before she began her career in sports advertising with Charter Communications.

At the Chamber, she’ll build on that background while helping support the day-to-day work behind our advocacy efforts. From keeping priorities organized to supporting conversations with business and government leaders, Ella’s role will help the team stay focused on the issues affecting companies across the region and responsive to the members we hear from along the way.

That connection to the community was a big part of what attracted Ella to the Chamber. She was drawn to the organization’s direct role in working with businesses and the broader community and is looking forward to learning more about the region while contributing to work that keeps those relationships moving forward.

“Ella will play an important role in helping our Business Advocacy team stay connected, organized and responsive as we work on behalf of our members,” said Bailey Vincett, Vice President of Business Advocacy. “That support gives our team more capacity to stay engaged on the issues affecting businesses across the region and make sure our members’ perspectives are part of those conversations.”

As Ella gets to know the Chamber’s work, she’s also getting to know Charleston. She recently moved to Mount Pleasant with two of her best friends and her dog, Nala, and is looking forward to getting more connected in the community, exploring the local restaurant scene and making plenty of time for the beach.

We’re glad to have Ella on the team and excited for our members to get to know her as she settles into both her new role and her new home in Charleston.
