For the past 13 years, Justin Lee has helped shape how the Chamber builds relationships with its members and connects businesses to opportunities across the region. Now, that work has earned him one of the chamber industry’s highest professional honors.
Justin, Senior Vice President of Membership & Corporate Partnerships, has received the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.
The CCE designation recognizes chamber professionals with a broad understanding of what it takes to lead a strong, effective organization. Candidates are assessed in areas including management, strategic planning, membership, communications, revenue and operations.
Justin is one of 19 chamber professionals across 12 states to earn the designation in 2026.
Since joining the Chamber, Justin has spent his career on the membership team, working closely with businesses throughout the region and helping strengthen the experience they have with the organization. Today, he leads the Chamber’s Membership and Corporate Partnership strategy, from welcoming new members to developing relationships that deepen their involvement and support the Chamber’s broader work.
“Justin understands that strong membership begins with listening to our businesses and finding ways for the Chamber to be a better partner,” said Charleston Metro Chamber President and CEO Kevin Sheilley. “His leadership has strengthened our organization, but our members feel the greatest impact. They have someone who understands their goals, values their investment and is always looking for ways to connect them with the right opportunities.”
The CCE designation was first awarded more than 40 years ago and remains the only globally recognized certification created exclusively for chamber of commerce professionals.
We’re proud to celebrate Justin and this well-earned recognition of the leadership, experience and care he brings to our members each day.
