The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce Daphne Johnson has joined the Chamber team as Marketing Coordinator. In this role, she will support the Marketing team through coordinating projects, writing digital communication and managing social media channels. She will also assist with public relations efforts and event promotion for the Chamber.

“We are pleased to welcome Daphne Johnson to the Chamber team,” said Erin Aylor, Senior Vice President of Marketing. “With her impressive skill set and passion for serving the community, we’re excited to have her on board.”

Prior to joining the Chamber team, Daphne worked at the Frist Art Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was a Communications Intern. She was tasked with marketing exhibitions, programming and events, in addition to managing email newsletters, writing press releases and developing website and social media content. Daphne also assisted in market research and ensuring website accessibility.

Daphne is originally from West Chicago, Illinois and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. In her time at Belmont University, Daphne helped launch an on campus, student-run wellness store called Where The Well Things Are. Currently, Daphne calls West Ashley home along with her roommate.
