Sylleste H. Davis to return to the South Carolina House of Representatives

The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (Chamber PAC), after endorsing Sylleste H. Davis for SC House District 100, is pleased to congratulate her on her victory in the primary on June 9. Running unopposed in the general election in November, she will return to the South Carolina House of Representatives to serve District 100 for another two years.

“I am honored to represent the people of House District 100 for the next two years,” said Davis. “Please know that I take this responsibility seriously and I look forward to sitting down with many of you and discussing how we can work together to solve issues needing to be addressed.”

After retiring from a career in technical and management positions with an electric utility, Sylleste has been serving the citizens of Berkeley County full time, and since being elected in 2016, Sylleste has supported economic growth, improvements to public education and has recognized our region’s transportation and infrastructure needs.

She brings common sense, honesty, integrity and solid business knowledge to the House of Representatives. The business community looks forward to Sylleste bringing people together to get things done to enhance our region.

“Sylleste has consistently had a positive working relationship with the business community and is aligned with the Chamber’s pillar priorities: mobility, livability and business climate,” said Bryan Derreberry, Charleston Metro Chamber President and CEO. “We look forward to enhancing that relationship as Sylleste serves her next term.”
