What made you want to participate in the Lowcountry Minority Business Accelerator?
After learning about the program, it truly peeked my interest. I was able to
observe the different cohorts presentations and see their growth. It made
me take a closer look at my business and realize certain deficits and how it
was hindering its growth. I also realize that I was in need of growing
connections within the community to assist my clients’ needs as well as the
business.
What advice would you give to other minority business owners?
Trust the process. Building a brand and business takes hard work,
ambition, passion, dedication, and most importantly time. Give yourself
grace due to there are going to be obstacles, seen and unforeseen, but
veiw them as learning curves and not road blocks. Keep an open mind and
heart, allow your business to be your passion and not a burden.
