We are looking for an experienced financial controller to assist the CFO in managing the Finance Department and undertaking all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, tax and other regulatory matters, budgeting and forecasting, enhancement of internal policies and controls, and financial risk management.
Manage and direct activities of the following three functional groups:
Client accounting — responsible for claims reconciliation, inventory accounting, PO management, and monthly financial reports for client pharmacy programs
Corporate accounting — responsible for financial matters of holding company and two operating companies, including business licenses and taxes in multiple jurisdictions
340B & financial compliance — responsible for adherence to contracts and 340B regulations
Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, reports for board of directors, forecasts and budgets, and report variances.
Review and publish timely monthly financial statements and monthly board reports
Oversee month-end and year-end close process
Oversee annual financial audit and tax returns prepared by outside accounting firm
Manage corporate liquidity and treasury functions
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage and comply with business licensing requirements and tax filings
Enhance and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Oversee or perform direct preparation of monthly commission and incentive calculations for multiple departments
Develop and support the Finance team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
Advise senior management and/or board of directors on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards
Explain the financial structure and Equiscript’s management of client pharmacy programs with current and prospective clients
Additional financial duties as necessary

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in accounting or related field
15+ years of experience in accounting or finance
5+ years of experience as a Controller or similar position at an autonomous company
CPA or CMA certification
Proven track record of leadership and management skills
Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and procedures
Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite strongly preferred
Excellent computer skills including spreadsheets and web-based programs
Experience in inventory and cost accounting
Experience with 340B drug discount program
Pharmacy background
Salesforce.com experience
Physical Requirements
Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; may require lifting up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
