JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manages and maintains company inventory; interfaces and supports engineering and sales in-house and occasionally in the field. Performs all shipping and receiving for company. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop this department!

Inventory, Shipping and Handling:

  • Process daily activities of the Shipping and Receiving Department parts/equipment
  • Ensure all domestic and international shipping and receiving transactions are correct
  • Prepare all documents for shipments: shipping labels, packing slips
  • Perform cycle counts on a regular basis to ensure inventory is accurate
  • Maintain a well- organized warehouse regarding storage, shipping material and all company supplies
  • Processes orders for designated parts and products
  • Package and prepare products/parts/supplies for shipment
  • Receive packages/shipments
  • Warehouse duties including loading/unloading freight manually or by fork-lift operation. This may include warehouse organization and maintenance
  • Establish professional customer/vendor relationships
  • Answers the phone, takes messages, and/or directs all calls to appropriate department/individual
  • May occasionally assist with and/or perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and service of equipment in-house or in the field, if qualified.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with inventory management
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience crating, packing large shipments
  • Driver’s license and excellent driving record required
  • Must be able to pass a background check & drug test
  • Fork-lift experience highly desirable; certification preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, well organized and dependable
  • Familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Understanding of the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals
  • Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to travel occasionally

EDUCATION: Associate degree and 3 or more years’ related work experience; a Bachelor degree and 2 or more years’ related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is considered medium-to-heavy in nature and involves walking, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, pushing or raising objects and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis

Experience:

  • Inventory Control: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Shipping & Receiving: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Industrial Parts & Equipment: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Cycle Count: 3 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year
