The Charleston Metro Chamber’s 2025 Metro Leadership Visit is officially set for September 30 – October 3 and we’re turning up the heat, starting with a little hot chicken.
Recently, Chamber President & CEO Kevin Sheilley and SVP of Marketing & Events Erin Aylor took on the ultimate challenge: revealing this year’s destination, themes and experiences while working their way through four increasingly spicy levels of Nashville hot chicken; from “Southern Sizzle” to “Broadway Burn.” Between bites and tormenting their taste buds, they dive into the key topics and share what Chamber members can expect from this immersive leadership experience.
MLV is more than just a change of scenery. It’s a chance to connect with fellow leaders and decision-makers from across the Charleston region while learning firsthand from another city’s wins, setbacks and creative approaches to the very challenges we face at home. Whether it’s housing, transit or entrepreneurial growth, we’ll be exploring it all and not just from the back of a meeting room.
This experience is about getting involved. It’s about asking better questions, building stronger relationships and seeing ideas in action. Of course, we’ll also make time to enjoy what Nashville is known for, including a private visit to the legendary Bluebird Cafe for a special singer-songwriter round that promises to be a highlight of the trip.
If you’re looking for fresh ideas, meaningful connections and a few unforgettable stories to bring back to your organization, this is your opportunity. Registration is now open through August 29.
