Charleston, South Carolina, April 14, 2026 — Lifestyle Communities (LC) today announced the groundbreaking of its newest community, LC Point Hope, a neighborhood intentionally designed around participation as the foundation for connection. This marks LC’s third community in the Charleston market, further reinforcing its continued investment and growing presence in the region.
Located within the master-planned Point Hope community on the Cainhoy peninsula, the development will introduce approximately 450 luxury homes across 670,527 square feet of residential space, including a mix of hybrid apartments, row homes, and townhomes. While diverse in product type, the community is unified by a singular idea: creating an elevated living experience where daily life naturally invites interaction, activity, and shared connection.
“Too often, communities are built around space instead of experience. We see it differently; the moments that matter most aren’t planned, they happen naturally. Our role is to build extraordinary communities where those moments can occur every day,” said Michael Mueller, Executive Vice President of Construction. “LC Point Hope will set a new standard for luxury, participation-driven living.”
The community will feature an 18,722-square-foot amenity experience designed to encourage daily engagement. LC’s signature concepts include The Goat, a vibrant social hub focused on food, drink, and shared experiences; Morning Ritual, a coffeehouse fostering meaningful daily interactions; and CODE, a wellness-focused fitness center. Outdoor spaces further reinforce LC’s differentiated approach, anchored by a resort-style pool designed as a central gathering place alongside amenities such as pickleball and volleyball courts.
LC celebrated the groundbreaking with many of its valued partners, including the Charleston Chamber of Commerce, project architects, lending partners, and key leaders whose collaboration and expertise have been instrumental in bringing the vision of LC Point Hope to life. The first residential units and amenity spaces are anticipated to deliver in late summer 2027.
