Title: Program Support Specialist
Classification: Regular Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Salary: Starting at $30/hour
Location: Onsite
Summary:
The Program Support Specialist at the Lowcountry Center for Veterans Research (LCVR) is a full-time, onsite administrative role responsible for managing key business office functions. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Specialist supports payroll, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, HR, and general program administration.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reviews and processes all purchase requests, maintains approvals and appropriate documentation.
- Reviews and posts all payments received for accounts receivable, including the maintenance of the mail log.
- Processes all travel authorizations and reimbursements.
- Purchases or facilitate the purchase of equipment and supplies needed by the staff and program
- Assist in the organization and management of all vendor-related files.
- Maintain human resources files and new hire set up.
- Process and verify all payroll and related items.
- Assist with scheduling or organizing program events, tasks, or special activities of the program
- Assist with marketing and engagement efforts for the program, including assisting with social media and website maintenance
- Maintain records and files in accordance with published policies
- Provide additional program and operations support as assigned

Qualifications and Hiring Criteria:
- Authorization to work in the US to apply for this job and are subject to a background/suitability investigation
- Education: Graduate from an accredited accounting or business program; Or, minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting; or combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with Office 365. Knowledge of Quickbooks or other financial accounting system is helpful.
