LJA Engineering, a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ricky Waters as Vice President. In his new role, Ricky will be based in LJA’s Charleston, SC office and will lead the firm’s operations in the Carolinas.

Ricky brings over 15-years of extensive experience in the civil engineering industry. His expertise and leadership will be crucial in leading and growing LJA’s South Carolina office, with a specific focus on land development-related projects. Prior to joining LJA, Ricky, a US Naval Academy Graduate who served in the US Marine Corps, most recently served as a Business Unit Manager at a large publicly traded multi-disciplinary engineering firm, where he led the firm’s North and South Carolina operations and delivered client-focused civil engineering solutions to developers and local municipalities throughout the Country.
