SCHBC Hosting Seminar on Health-Savvy Leadership

South Carolina Healthy Business Challenge’s Lowcountry Chapter will host a seminar titled “Health-Savvy Leadership: The Business Case for Prioritizing Organizational Well-Being” on March 27th from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Held in partnership with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, the seminar will feature Chamber President and CEO, Bryan Derreberry, as one of the speakers.

About the Event:
Seminar attendees will join a distinguished panel of C-suite executives, Chamber of Commerce leaders, and elected officials as they explore the critical role of prioritizing workforce wellbeing.

The health and well-being of business leaders have a direct impact on their organization and employees. When leaders prioritize their own well-being, it sets a positive example for the entire company. Executives in good health can lead effectively, make sound decisions, and inspire teams, contributing to a more vibrant and productive work environment. Additionally, a focus on health reduces absenteeism, fosters a culture of wellness, and supports employee engagement, creating a ripple effect throughout the organization.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into the tangible benefits, innovative approaches, and transformative impact that prioritizing employee wellness can have on both individuals and the overall success of organizations in today’s dynamic business landscape. Furthermore, this session aims to inspire actionable strategies, collaborative initiatives, and policy considerations that can collectively elevate both individual and organizational health, fostering a resilient and thriving business community across the state of South Carolina.

As always, seminar attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy a delicious and healthy lunch while networking with other SCHBC members, exhibitors and attendees.
