Start the New Year off by saving a life! Join us for our BLOOD DRIVE on Tuesday, February 8th from 9am-2pm. The blood drive will be held on site, in the training room like last time. The Gilston Agency has a goal of 20 donors (we have space for up to 26), to help local hospitals! Due to a limited number of donor slots, we are extending the initial invitation to staff, agents, and community partners. Later in the month, if there are remaining slots, we will then open the Blood Drive up to the public. Please see the information below on how to reserve your donation time!
The American Red Cross national blood inventory is the lowest it’s been at this time of year in at least six years, with less than a day’s supply of certain blood types in recent weeks. The Red Cross is working around the clock to meet the blood needs of hospitals and patients – but can’t do it alone!
