Congratulations, Ethan D. Knox, on being selected as the South Carolina Department of Education, Division of College and Career Readiness, Office of Career and Technical Education and Student Transition Services Trident Region Technology Champion for 2023.

Ethan currently works as a powder coat painter for GG Schmitt. Ethan’s personal and professional accomplishment consist of owning his own lawn care business, being a sales associate at Palmetto Moon, a back of house kitchen chef at Chick-fil-a and a machinist apprentice for Wiland USA, while maintaining an above average GPA. In Ethan’s down time, you can find him repairing or maintaining old trucks and cars. 

As Ethan looks toward the future, he plans to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering, where he hopes to gain employment as an engineer for Boeing. Ultimately, Ethan’s goal is to become an Imagineer at Disney, where he hopes to design rides and attractions.
