The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce (CMCC) is a recipient of the Economic Development Administration’s Good Jobs Challenge Grant. This grant opportunity is being utilized to establish the Lowcountry Careers Collaborative (LCC) to address the hiring needs of the Tri-County region’s major healthcare employers and increase diversity within the workforce. 

On Friday, May 10, 2023, CMCC will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to contract training providers serving the Tri-County area to provide programming that prepares participants to become nursing assistants, medical assistants, phlebotomists, practical nurses, and radiologic technologists.  Please read the details in the RFP document linked below for a full description of this opportunity.  Qualified firms are invited to submit a proposal using the provided proposal template.  The deadline for this RFP is Thursday, May 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. EST – proposals submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
