Berkeley County Supervisor, Johnny Cribb, Encourages Government to Work For Businesses

The first Thursday of every month, the Chamber holds a Government Relations Update with the highest-ranking elected officials in the Charleston region. Our April special guest was Berkeley County Supervisor Johnny Cribb.

Supervisor Cribb is leading the charge in Berkeley County to prioritize economic development and infrastructure improvements. His actions show he wants the government to work for businesses, not against them. The County continues to prioritize industrial sites that will attract new capital investment and jobs to its communities. The Economic Development department is sponsoring a state-wide job fair to connect students with these local jobs. Under Supervisor Cribb’s leadership, the County has utilized money from the sales tax referendums to make impactful infrastructure improvements.

Berkeley County is a great example of what can happen when government and businesses work in partnership. Watch the video below to learn more about the positive work happening in Berkeley County and Supervisor Cribb’s plans for the future.
