Pivoting from Face-to-Face Selling to Virtual Selling

Featuring John Rosso, Founder and CEO of Sandler Training.

Key Takeaways

Justin Lee, Associate Vice President of Membership Engagement for the Charleston Metro Chamber

I have known John since I started working at the Chamber and enjoy hearing him speak.  Every time I listen to John I find something new that I can implement immediately.  The Chamber’s Webinar session with him during the COVID-19 is no different.

There are three takeaways that I thought really hit home for a lot of people right now.

  1. The idea that it is unethical to sell something to somebody that they do not need. It is also unethical to not to sell something to someone that is in need. A lot of sales people are hesitant to try to sell at this time and that quote is absolutely true, now more than ever.
  2. What you believe to be true affects your actions.  For example, if you believe that people do not want to be contacted right now, you will not pick up the phone and call. Some prospects may be focused on just keeping the ship afloat, and some are open to connecting.
  3. People will not remember what you say to them, they will remember how you make them feel.

I encourage you to watch John’s webinar and find takeaways that you can implement for you and your team.
