Inspire the Next Generation of Talent Through Hands-On Career Exploration

Registration is now open for businesses to participate as interactive exhibitors in the Explore: Career Discovery Fair, taking place Tuesday, March 3, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Charleston Area Convention Center.

Explore brings together middle and high school students with companies from across the region for a hands-on, interactive look at real-world careers. Through engaging exhibits and activities, students can ask questions, try new skills and better understand how the classes they take today connect to future opportunities. For businesses, Explore offers a meaningful way to invest in early talent development while making a positive impact in the community.

“Explore is about opening doors for students and showing them what’s possible,” said Celeste Granger, Senior Vice President of Programs & Initiatives at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. “When businesses, school districts and the Chamber come together, we create experiences that spark curiosity, build awareness and strengthen the talent pipelines our region depends on for long-term success.”

Over the past three years, thousands of students and hundreds of companies have participated in Explore, making it one of the region’s most impactful workforce awareness events. Businesses of all sizes and industries are encouraged to participate and Chamber membership is not required to exhibit.

Businesses interested in inspiring the region’s future workforce are encouraged to register your business today. Any questions about the event can be directed to Olivia Vernon, at overnon@charlestonchamber.org.

Organizations seeking additional visibility can contact Kelly Killeen-Haupt at kkilleen-haupt@charlestonchamber.org to learn more about sponsorship opportunities.
