The Advocates: 2024 D.C. Fly-In Dates Announced
| We are excited to announce this year’s DC Fly-In for July 31–August 1. We hope that you will consider joining a delegation representing local governments, businesses and non-profits to take our regional message to decision-makers in Washington, D.C. During the trip, we will meet with the leadership of the Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard. Our military meetings are primarily focused on showcasing our region-wide community support for military missions in the Charleston region and demonstrating a shared commitment to issues that inhibit mission success, like housing attainability and infrastructure. We will meet with our Congressional delegation to show the region’s support of policies and investments that promote the retention and expansion of military operations and federal facilities, as well as federal funding of infrastructure projects such as Lowcountry Rapid Transit and the Mark Clark Extension in the tri-county region. A tentative schedule, ticket prices, hotel and flight information for the full trip will be shared soon. To learn more about past D.C.
