Volunteer Leaders
Our dedicated volunteer leaders work diligently alongside us to drive solutions for our great region. Volunteer leaders serve on the Chamber's Executive Committee, Board of Directors and committees that propel our missional platforms forward. They represent a variety of businesses and industry sectors and help us keep a pulse on our region's greatest issues and be intentional about our efforts to make our region a better place to live, work and play.
Board members represent corporations and businesses of all sizes, across multiple industries. Our Board leads the direction of the Chamber as a whole. Each member is running, or serves an integral part in, a successful business and their involvement in community matters makes their expertise so highly sought after.
The Executive Committee and Chamber Board are led by 2025 Chair, Elizabeth Burwell, SVP at Southern First Bank, and Charleston Metro Chamber President and CEO, Kevin Sheilley.
We have a variety of volunteer committees that work directly with our departments to advance regional businesses and their employees and ensure we are up-to-date on community issues.
